Saving Money #2

  • Combine your cable, internet and telephone service. Companies now offer combined services that not only cost less, but offer the convenience of a single bill.
  • Do you really need a home phone and cell phone? or is one just an extra expense.
  • Research the services in your area you may find a better deal.
  • Do you need the highest speed in internet service to read your e-mail?
  • Examine your internet usage. Lower the speed if possible, usually lowering your cost.
  • Are you paying for long distance? There are many companies that now offer nationwide calling for the same price or less than you paying now.
  • Do you really watch all those cable channels? Take note of which channels you watch and enjoy the most. Is there a less costly package that will still give you those channels? It could save you some $$$.
  • Do you watch TV more in the winter and hardly at all in the summer? If so, check with your provider and see you can easily change your package to a lesser one in the summer.
  • Are you gone from your home for more than one month at a time? See if your provider has a vacation maintance package for a reduced rate. Why pay full price for what you are not using?
